Summary
The objective of the position is to design, implement, maintain and support the data Architecture as well as the organisations Business Intelligence systems.
What you'll do
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:
Designing, building and maintaining Business intelligence systems including integration with databases and data warehousing
Working with business stakeholders in the analysis and collection of business reporting requirements and understanding their needs
Building and managing the data models for BI dashboards and work closely with Controlling team to ensure the data models fulfil reporting requirements
Manage BI & reporting solutions security roles and access rights for End users
Build and run data extraction, transformation and loading from various cloud and on-prem sources into BI & analytical platforms
Perform Status- and Performance monitoring of the BI & analytics platforms and underlaying Data lake/Data warehouse systems
Perform regular system maintainance and updates to existing BI solutions to enhance functionality abd incorporate new data sources or analytics capabilities as well as ensure compliance with internal technical guidelines and information security policies
Ensure proper documentation of data infrastructure, data models, workflows as well as security concepts according to security policies
Provide 2nd level support for BI & Analytics front end tools and reporting issues
What you'll need
3+ years experience as a BI developer / Data Engineer in an enterprise environment
Proven experience in data warehousing (e.g. ETL design / development, data mapping, data cleansing, data modelling)
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
Advanced knowledge of SQL queries
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, self-motivated, hard-working and able to work in a dynamic environment
Good spoken and written communication skills in English
