Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• The Data Engineer will lead in data collection, data analysis, and data consolidation to provide key business insights for management.
• Stakeholder collaboration to define business and information needs to deliver data-centric solutions.
• Translate business requirements into analytics and reporting specifications.
• Automate data collection process and digitalise existing workflows
• Support the digitalisation transformation team in improving operational efficiency
• Coordinate collection and consolidation of data
• Conduct data cleaning and vetting, check and verify data to ensure accurate data input
• Apply analytical, statistical and operational research knowledge to transform data into insights to facilitate decision making.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports
• Report critical issues observed through information analysis
• Troubleshoot, research and fixing issues
• To look into continuous improvement of data and business processes to improve efficiency and productivity
• Understanding internal department user needs build, maintain and optimize systems & process together through acquired data
• Recommend IT tools, digital transformation ideas for productivity improvement
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree with 2 year of experience in Data Analysis would be an added advantage
• SQL coding background will be advantageous
• Tertiary technical background required
