Responsibilities
- Deploy, administer, and support database and data lake infrastructures.
- Formulate and execute plans for high availability, backup, recovery, and disaster preparedness.
- Diagnose and resolve database issues and optimize performance.
- Enforce industry-standard security measures, policies, and best practices.
- Enhance clients data warehouses and data lakes, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Database Administration.
- Experience with Linux operating systems and scripting.
- Practical experience with at least one of the following: Hadoop Distributions, Relational Databases, or NoSQL Databases.
- Advantageous knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Data Virtualization tools, Scripting languages, Cloud platforms, and Docker/Kubernetes environments.
