About the Role
Our client is a prominent Financial Institution is seeking a Security Architect who will specialise in data protection and contribute to the development and execution of robust cybersecurity strategies. This role focuses on advancing security architecture within a dynamic, global financial environment. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you will ensure that security controls align with organizational risk frameworks and digital innovation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance enterprise security architecture, anticipating and responding to emerging cyber threats.
- Align cybersecurity measures with business needs and risk management priorities, balancing security with operational efficiency.
- Architect, implement, and maintain scalable cybersecurity systems, with a strong focus on data protection and encryption technologies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, advising on security solutions and best practices to support the firm's digital and cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Qualifications
- 7 years in cybersecurity, ideally within Financial Services Sector sectors.
- Strong expertise in data protection technologies, including encryption, key management, and data loss prevention
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager), cloud IAM, and cloud-based data protection frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, Python, C#)
