Job Description
Database Maintenance and Administration
o Installation
o Configuration
o Fine-tuning (In Coordination with Apps Team)
o Patching
o Performance optimization.
DB Backup and recovery
o Planning
o Implementation and On-Boarding
o Testing backup
o Recovery procedures
Troubleshooting
o Identifying and resolving database issues
Database design and development
o Assisting with database design and development projects
Automation and scripting
o Automating routine tasks and developing scripts to improve efficiency
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / any other relevant courses
3 4 years experience with DBA, familiar with MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis etc. Skillful in database high-availability deployment
Experience in Linux and Windows Server
Experience in operation and maintenance of large databases and distributed databases preferred;
Proficient in shell, bat, python or other scripting languages
Familiar with Cloud Databases of AWS and Google, such as: AWS Aurora, AWS Elasticache, AWS MemoryDB, Google Cloud Sql, Google MemoryStore, etc
