The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing and managing our databases. You will ensure optimal database performance by analyzing database issues and monitoring database performance.
Key Responsibilities:Database Administration:- Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.
- Implement and oversee database backups, restores, and recovery processes.
- Perform routine database maintenance, optimization, and updates.
- Monitor database health and troubleshoot performance issues.
Insider Security Setup:
- Design, implement, and manage insider security solutions to safeguard sensitive data.
- Establish robust policies and procedures to detect and mitigate insider threats.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enforce access controls and auditing mechanisms.
RSA Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Server Setup:
- Deploy and configure RSA 2FA servers to enhance organizational authentication systems.
- Integrate 2FA solutions with existing infrastructure and applications.
- Ensure the smooth operation of authentication protocols and resolve any related technical issues.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with development, IT, and security teams to support organizational objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as required.
Qualifications:- Experience: 3-5 years in database administration with a strong focus on MS SQL Server.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing secure database environments.
- Proven experience with insider security tools and frameworks.
- Hands-on expertise in deploying and managing RSA 2FA servers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:- Certifications in database administration or information security (e.g., Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, CISSP).
- Knowledge of additional database systems or cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or NIST.
