Responsibilities
Program Development and Implementation
- Assist in developing DEI strategies, goals, and initiatives aligned with the organization's values and mission
- Creates and manages programs that support recruitment, retention, and engagement of diverse talent
- Supports initiatives, provides guidance, resources, and fosters cross-functional collaboration
Policy Review and Advocacy
- Reviews, develops, and updates policies that foster equity and inclusion
- Provides input on organizational policies, practices, and procedures to ensure they are inclusive and equitable
- Serves as a DEI advocate, offering insights on issues impacting underrepresented groups within the organization
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collects and analyzes data related to workforce diversity, retention, and DEI program outcomes
- Creates and maintains metrics and reports to track progress toward DEI goals, presenting findings and insights to stakeholders
- Uses data to identify gaps and opportunities in DEI efforts and make recommendations for improvement
Engagement and Support
- Acts as a resource for employees seeking support on DEI-related matters.
- Partners with internal teams to address and resolve DEI-related issues, challenges, or conflicts.
- Supports initiatives around cultural awareness, inclusive events, and communications to foster an inclusive environment
- Fronts DEI scope for internal and external audits
Training and Development
- Develops and facilitates DEI training sessions, workshops, and discussions for employees
- Conducts awareness programs focused on cultural competency, inclusive leadership, and other DEI-related topics
- Identifies external DEI consultants and speakers as needed to enhance training and development offerings
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Social Sciences or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of DEI experience preferably with MNCs / organizations with huge headcount
- Strong understanding of DEI principles, best practices, and current trends
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to work collaboratively across diverse teams
- Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with DEI metrics
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Knowledge of employment laws and compliance related to diversity and inclusion
