Delivery Driver

Job Responsibilities

• Timely Delivery: Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods to specified locations, following the planned route.
• Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues for prompt repairs.
• Load and Unload Goods: Safely load, secure, and unload goods from the truck, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain delivery logs, invoices, and other necessary documentation, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and complete.
• Compliance with Traffic Laws: Adhere strictly to Singapore's traffic regulations and safety standards, including load limits and driving hours.
• Route Planning: Optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency, taking into account traffic conditions and delivery priorities.
• Safe Handling of Goods: Ensure proper handling of goods, especially perishable or fragile items, to maintain product quality and safety during transit.

Job Requirements

• Valid Class 3 License: Must possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license.
• Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years of truck driving or delivery experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Routes: Familiarity with Singapore's road network and local delivery routes.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items during loading and unloading.
