Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement the new dementia care model, including developing SOPs, adjusting the care environment, and providing ongoing support to staff.
- Assist in reviewing and fine-tuning the model after implementation.
- Liaise with the dementia consultant for post-implementation advice and support.
- Stay current on best practices in dementia care and introduce relevant interventions into the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Centre Management.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or accredited Social Worker, OR
- A degree in Psychology, Counselling, Gerontology, or Sociology.
- Trained in dementia care with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in an eldercare setting.
- A passion for dementia care.
