Prepare Treatment Areas & Trays: Set up and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas prior to procedures.
Assist During Procedures: Support the dentist with dental treatments by handing instruments, providing suction, and ensuring patient comfort throughout the procedure.
Manage Dental Inventory: Maintain and monitor the inventory of dental consumables and small instruments, ensuring stock is up-to-date and minimizing any losses.
X-rays & Imaging: Take, develop, and ensure the accuracy of X-rays as instructed by the dentist.
Infection Control: Follow all infection control protocols, including sterilization of dental instruments and disinfecting treatment areas.
Case Management: Track and manage cases sent to and received from the dental laboratory, ensuring timely delivery.
Housekeeping: Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Receptionist Duties:
Patient Reception: Greet all patients, visitors, and callers in a friendly, professional manner, creating a welcoming environment for everyone entering the clinic.
Appointment Scheduling: Book, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy of schedules.
Patient Information & Records: Update patient records, ensuring all information is accurate, complete, and maintained confidentially.
Billing & Payments: Perform cashiering duties, including processing payments and handling insurance claims (e.g., CHAS, Medisave, private insurance).
Patient Reminders & Follow-ups: Send appointment reminders, follow up on treatment plans, and ensure timely communication with patients regarding their appointments or lab results.
Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative duties, including answering phones, managing patient inquiries, and handling patient feedback.
Manage Laboratory Cases: Track and manage the transmission of dental cases to and from the laboratory, ensuring all cases are properly recorded and sent/received on time.
Job Requirements:
Education: Minimum qualification of N/O Levels or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
Skills:Basic computer skills (familiarity with clinic management software, e.g., Clinic Assist, is a plus). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent multitasking and time management abilities.
Work Schedule:5.5-day work week, including evening shifts and one weekend day. Flexibility to adjust work hours as needed.
