[What you will be working on]
You will join a dynamic team tasked to supervise capital markets intermediaries (broker-dealers). You will carry out day-to-day supervision of broker-dealers to promote safe, sound, and fair-dealing business practices. You will also be responsible for reviewing and assessing new licence applications.
In addition, there will be opportunities for you to participate in business process reviews and other related transformation work to improve the department's efficiency and effectiveness.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments.

Heart to serve the public and an alignment to the broader mission of MAS.
Financial services experience, particularly in capital markets or audit, or a demonstrable motivation to learn about the sector.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Natural curiosity and takes a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
Good written and verbal communication skills as you will be expected to interface with various senior internal and external stakeholders directly.
