Coordinate and participate in meetings with clients and technical teams to resolve variation orders (VO) and other contractual matters.
Negotiate pricing with subcontractors for awarded packages, and prepare essential documents, including Letters of Intent (LOI), and Subcontract Agreements, along with contractual review reports.
Manage variation orders, and issue payment certificates to subcontractors until final account settlement, including applying contra charges where applicable.
Oversee the preparation of progress claims and provide detailed information to the Project Director/Manager for quantification and variation claims.
Manage progress claims, update progress payments, and handle variation orders.
Attend meetings with clients, subcontractors, and the project team to discuss additional work requirements and verify progress claims and payments.
Drafting correspondence letters related to contract matters.
Advise the project team on contractual rights, complaint resolution, and VO settlements.
Conduct cost exercises, summarize bid details, and lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
Evaluate tender proposals, clarify terms, and ensure budget alignment.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
Skilled in negotiating with subcontractors and effective in client interactions.
Strong understanding of contracts and commercial issues, with acute attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
