Design Engineer

Job Summary: As a Senior Design Engineer in our organisation, you will play a crucial role in the product development process. 3. Prototyping: Oversee the development of prototypes and conduct testing and analysis to validate design concepts and make necessary adjustments.

4. Material Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate materials for product components, considering factors such as durability, cost, and performance.

5. Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality control teams to establish and maintain quality standards for products, ensuring they meet industry regulations and customer requirements.

6. Cost Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to reduce production costs while maintaining product quality and performance.

7. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, to facilitate the manufacturing process.

8. Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

. At least 5-8 years of proven experience as a Design Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

. Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.

. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
