Design Manager (M&E)

Our client is in the Civil & Infrastructure Contractor and has a strong presence globally. They are looking to fill the role of M&E Design Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all mechanical and electrical (M&E) construction activities on site, reporting directly to the Project Manager.
• Manage construction activities and monitor progress independently.
• Coordinate and supervise M&E works effectively.
• Liaise with M&E consultants to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Monitor progress, quality of workmanship, and adherence to authority requirements.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including design consultants, engineers, clients project representatives, and statutory agencies, to establish design deliverables for submission.
• Review design deliverables with design consultants and engineers to ensure readiness for submission.
• Address technical clarifications as needed to resolve issues and establish method statements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional registration with the Institute of Structural Engineers.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Advanced knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and legal standards.
• Strong grasp of physics and mathematics.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals.
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in IT.

Location: South

Working days: 5.5 Days

Salary: Up to S$12,000 / Negotiable and Bonus (salary will be commensurate according to experience & qualifications).
