Job Descriptions- Manage and coordinate the design team, including architects, engineers, and other design professionals. Provide leadership and guidance throughout the design process, ensuring that design objectives are met within requirements.
Develop a comprehensive project design plan, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.- Lead the design team in developing innovative and creative design conceptualization to project completion that align with the project's vision and requirements.
Coordinate design activities with other project disciplines, such as construction and operations, engineering and project team, and interior design.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure effective communication and integration of design elements.
Prepare submission drawings and coordinate to Consultants, Professional Engineers, Registered Inspectors and other professionals for the required submission to authority and obtain clearances for the New Proposed Buildings and Addition & Alteration (A&A) Projects (Architectural, Civil & Structural and M&E) into given timeline.- Conduct regular design reviews to evaluate the progress, quality, and compliance of design deliverables. Prepare and deliver design presentations to clients if needed, stakeholders, and project teams, explaining design concepts, strategies, and decisions.
Assist quality control procedures to ensure that design outputs meet the required standards, codes, and regulations.
- Review design documents, drawings, and specifications to identify and resolve potential issues or conflicts.
Working with the Project Manager, may direct, supervise, and check activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
Identify potential design risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively address design-related challenges, such as technical constraints, regulatory issues, and stakeholder conflicts.
- Stay abreast of design technologies, tools, trends, and sustainable design practices. Integrate innovative design solutions and technologies into projects to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction.
Assist Tender Documentations- Supports Admin, Procurements and Management Team.
Perform any other assigned duties as needed.
Degree/Diploma in Architecture/M&E/ Civil/ Structural or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant development or design experience.
Good Knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards to ensure that designs comply with legal requirements.- Ensure that design solutions are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and meet the needs of end-users.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Immediate availability will be advantageous.
