DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with extensive experience on the AWS platform to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles, GitOps, and artifact promotion. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure the smooth deployment and operation of our applications.

Job Responsibilities:

.Design and implement the infrastructure on AWS, using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles to ensure automation, reproducibility, and reliability.

.Implement GitOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and deployment strategies.

.Work closely with development teams to design and implement deployment models that promote reliable, scalable, and secure artifact promotion.

.Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure timely identification and resolution of issues.

.Collaborate with other teams to ensure the necessary security and compliance standards are being met.

.Develop and maintain documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles

.Continuously evaluate and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of the infrastructure.

.Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in DevOps, AWS, IaC, GitOps and artifact promotion.

Qualifications:

.Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Engineering, or Information management and

.Minimum 3 years of equivalent work experience

.Expertise in infrastructure design, implementation, and management on AWS, using IaC principles to ensure automation, reproducibility, and reliability.

.Expert knowledge of GitOps and CI/CD tools.

.Proven experience in designing and implementing deployment models for artifact promotion, including blue-green deployments and canary deployments.

.Experience with infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.

.Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix/Docker/K8S systems administration

.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

.Excellent written and verbal communication skills

.AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent certification is a plus.
