DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Manage and deploy applications using containerization technologies, with a strong focus on Red Hat OpenShift.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Implement and manage Nginx configurations for load balancing, reverse proxy, and other web server-related tasks.
• Ensure the security, availability, and performance of production systems.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum7 years experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in Singapore public sector or Financial Institution is a plus
• Hands-on experience of AWS services and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
• Expertise in containerization technologies, especially RedHat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Bash.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines.
• Familiarity with Nginx for web server configurations and optimizations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• AWS or other relevant certifications are a plus.
