We are partnered with an established organisation in search of a DevOps Engineer. This role is focused on omplementing and maintaining robust DevOps solutions while driving platform engineering and infrastructure automation. This role is essential in supporting application delivery, enabling secure software development, and ensuring the seamless operation of platforms for both customers and internal stakeholders
You will collaborate across three key pillars of application and platform services:
- Application Delivery: Partner with development teams to deliver turnkey software solutions for customers.
- DevSecOps Enablement: Design and implement secure DevOps pipelines, ensuring a robust software factory for supply chain management with integrated scanning and vulnerability tools.
- Software Support: Support day-2 operations, including incident management and platform stability.
Responsibilities:
DevOps Implementation and Maintenance:
- Build and maintain secure DevOps pipelines for Java and .NET applications, catering to customer and internal needs.
- Implement and optimise CI/CD workflows to ensure seamless software delivery and deployment.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Platform Engineering:
- Leverage Terraform and Ansible to design and provision software-defined infrastructure.
- Develop service platforms that enable efficient compute provisioning and scalable infrastructure.
DevOps Enablement:
- Enable agile software development by providing secure infrastructure and tooling.
- Integrate vulnerability scanning and security tools to ensure a secure software supply chain.
- Work closely with the infrastructure applications team to ensure platform readiness for agile development.
Software Support and Operations:
- Provide day-2 support, including incident management and troubleshooting.
- Ensure platform stability for continuous operations.
Strategic Decision-Making:
- Allocate resources effectively across the three pillars to meet business and technical priorities.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to team
Requirements:
- You have at least 4-8 years of experience in DevOps and Software Engineering
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven expertise in container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Achievements in implementing large-scale DevOps and IaC solutions.
- CAT 1 Security Clearance
