Devops Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who can optimize software delivery pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and reliability across development and operations teams;

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and related discipline;
• 1-3 years of experience in DevOps or related software engineering roles;
• Proficiency with at least one CI/CD tool (e.g., Jenkins, Octopus, ArgoCD);
• Familiar with the complete software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipeline, and comfortable with version control systems (GIT, Bitbucket) and integration tools (Jenkins);
• Strong grasp of CI/CD best practices, including environmental variable management,and a proactive attitude towards learning and adapting new technologies;
• Ability to manage projects independently with minimal supervision;
• Exceptional troubleshooting, debugging, analytic, and diagnostic skills;
• Solid understanding of Docker for containerization and image repository management, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and a customer-focused mindset.

Desired Skill-set

• Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration;
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) for managing and provisioning cloud resources;

Responsibilities

• Design and implement our CI/CD toolsuite, ensuring efficient and automated software delivery pipelines;
• Maintain and manage the CI/CD, including scheduling patches and updates to maintain system integrity;
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to automate deployment processes, enhancing development efficiency;
• Coordinate with enterprise architects and IT security teams to ensure deployments comply with organizational standards and security requirements;
• Troubleshoot deployment issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures to optimize deployment workflows.
