Your job responsibilities include:
- Conceptualizing and developing engaging story ideas through images, videos, audio, and graphics to engage and inform audiences
- Creating compelling visual content, including infographics, data visualizations, and interactive multimedia elements that enhance storytelling
- Designing and implementing interactive features (e.g., quizzes, polls, sliders) that encourage audience engagement and deepen their understanding of complex topics
- Analyzing audience metrics and feedback to refine interactive elements and enhance user experience
- Working closely with designers, developers, and other editorial staff to ensure accuracy, cohesiveness and relevance in the context of news reporting
- Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in digital storytelling and journalism, implementing best practices in your work

Requirements
- Degree in Journalism, Communications, Multimedia Design, or a related field
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese (written and spoken) as this role supports a Chinese Publication
- Proven experience in visual storytelling and interactive media
- Strong editing skills to ensure clarity, accuracy, and coherence in visual narratives
- Keen interest in journalism and is kept abreast of news and media trends
- Ability to identify and develop newsworthy stories
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team to deliver under tight deadlines
