Job Overview:
We are looking for a Digital Sales Executive with a passion for video games, strong sales acumen, and experience in managing digital platforms to support our digital business expansion. This role will focus on driving growth through digital platform management, developing supplier relationships, identifying new opportunities, analyzing sales trends, and maximizing revenue through strategic promotions and pricing. A deep understanding of the gaming market, particularly for PC games, is a bonus, as well as proficiency in Mandarin due to our significant customer base in China.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Platform Management: Assist the management of digital platforms to enhance user engagement, optimize product visibility, and drive sales. Leverage platform insights to improve product listings, promotional timing, and customer experience.
- Supplier and Product Development: Actively assist the manager to source potential new suppliers and establish relationships to expand our portfolio of game titles. Collaborate with existing suppliers to acquire new game titles and negotiate terms that align with our business goals.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong rapport with existing customers, fostering long-term partnerships and loyalty.
- Sales Reporting and Invoicing: Obtain timely sales reports from customers, review data, and coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
- Payment and Account Management: Monitor and follow up closely on payment statuses, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
- Promotions and Negotiations: Plan and execute promotions to drive sales. Negotiate with suppliers for discounts and promotional deals, keeping market competitiveness in mind.
- Data Analysis and Strategy Development: Conduct regular data analysis to understand market trends, customer preferences, and sales performance, using insights to develop effective strategies for growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a sales, account , or digital platform role, preferably within the digital entertainment or video game industry.
- Platform Expertise: Proven ability to manage digital platforms, with a focus on maximizing user engagement, and utilizing analytics to drive performance.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong interest in gaming, especially PC games, is a bonus, as this will help in better understanding customer preferences and trends.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in digital analytics tools, Microsoft Office, and other relevant digital tools for reporting and strategy planning.
- Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and achieve favorable outcomes in discussions with both suppliers and customers.
