Director (Business Development/Investment) - Real Estate

We are recruiting for an established real estate company their AUM stands at about USD100 billion. They are looking to grow their Southeast Asia mandate and will be looking to add an Investment/BD professional to the team.

Reporting to the Head of Investment, you will be responsible for proactively manage its investment portfolio to achieve the company's strategic objectives and commercial returns. You will support in formulating and implementing investment strategies to support existing funds and create new funds. You will contribute to recommending and implementing asset plans and strategies to enhance value and returns, manage risk, and meet return targets.

You will also be securing pipeline assets for the fund and maintain a close network of business contacts with relevant market players, consultants, investors, and third-party property managers. You will participate in due diligence related to pipeline assets and fund-related investments as well as conducting feasibility studies, including market studies, operating assumptions, and financial analyses. You will support negotiations with investment counterparties and collaborate with internal stakeholders on capital structuring issues. You will handle document preparation and completion for all investment activities, preparing written reports and making presentations for investment approval. You will report on asset performance and assist in conducting portfolio analysis/optimization, divestment including due diligence, negotiations, and documentation.

Requirements:

You have about 10 years of investment experience in Southeast Asia with an in-depth understanding of any of the Southeast Asia real estate markets.

Candidates with any native fluency in the languages and knowledge of logistics and hospitality markets will be held in high regards.

You are highly numerical with excellent interpersonal skills and able to multi-task.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and am highly independent.
