Job Summary:
The role holder will be responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis of our business in Greater Asia by providing timely, accurate, insightful information to help drive business decisions. The individual will work closely with various functions across the organization including operations, sales, marketing, finance, commercial, supply chain and IT to provide comprehensive support on their respective areas.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage overall planning and analytics for Greater Asia (Annual Strategic Review, annual budgeting, quarterly projection) and support management reporting / business modelling / decision support to deliver organization goals. Including preparing business cases and models to support our deployment / redeployment of investments.
Provide guidance and direction to countries and regional business on overall financial targets and ensure that proper plans exist for executing the same . Ensure alignment and agreement with the target.
Lead Regional FP&A Team on providing strategic insights and decision support and finance partnership to regional / global Businesses in order for them to make optimum decisions on portfolio, margins and investments needed to drive business.
Support VP finance to formulate the financial strategy, to grow the revenue and enhance profitability and returns in line with delivering financial expectation for the region , analyze with particular focus on addressable market, category share and resources and means required to grow the same .Manage risks and opportunities process and create contingency plan and scenarios / options to meet expectations. Simplify the planning process and create value for the regional management.
Provide overall guidance and oversight on Greater Asia FP&A Team (Region/Countries) and ensure that they work as one team to optimize on effort to deliver business and data analytics. Create a constant loop of feedback from internal customers to improve the service delivery process.
Represent Greater Asia FP&A needs and team requirements to global businesses and corporate. Develop working relationship with WWB Finance VP along with the team and ensure that the global business teams understand the regional strategy / business profile and that the WW / Global business/ Functional agenda executed in the region ( Driving of targets and expectation setting).
Develop working relationship with Country Finance Leader along with the team to ensure that the country dynamics are well understood by the team and that the countries are constantly driving the standardization and harmonization of processes and uniformity of reporting.
Coordinate closely with Finance Planning and Analysis ( Operation) Director to align Greater Asia timeline and deliverables with various stakeholders. Ensure alignment with COE to promote the agenda of harmonization of reporting process , use of tolls like power BI and drive automation. Work collaboratively with the country and business teams to drive integration and other company wide projects.
Drive FP&A talent development, ensure that the design and delivery model is optimized, and the team has right capability / competency with proper mindset to grow/support the business and continuous improvement of the processes and sharing best practices across region.
Job Qualifications, Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience :
Bachelor degree in accounting or CPA and additional qualification of Master Business Administration will be given preference.
Strong planning and analytical skills, business acumen , financials savviness , influencing and resolving conflicts. Articulation and Smooth communication with various levels of management is an important part of the role.
Have at least 12-14 years work experience and the last two to three years in an independent supervisory role of a large group (Direct reports of 5 & more)
Have multi country work experience in the region for a reasonable amount of time to culturally appreciate diversity and work in a Matrix environment. International experience of working in other than Asia would be preferred.
Fluent written and spoken English is very important.
