Director, Focused Service Brand Management - Asia Pacific

What will I be doing
Reporting into the Vice President, Suites & Focused Service Brand Management - APAC, this position is responsible for day-to-day support in delivering on our brand strategy and priorities for the Focused Service brands in APAC, excluding China (APACx). This includes creating and maintaining differentiation across the brands within Hilton and amongst the competitors through clear positioning, deploying meaningful and locally relevant product and service initiatives and standards that reinforce and reflect the brand personality, managing the innovation cycle of our prototypes and programmatic elements, ensuring long-term brand equity through system management, and supporting enterprise unit distribution strategies.
Setting Strategy
Director-level thought leadership and strategic support of the VP, Suites & Focused Service Brand Management - APAC and of our key strategic priorities, projects, and initiatives.
Ability to think strategically at the enterprise level, with the know-how to deliver at the category, brand, regional, and property level.
Take an entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing new, innovative ideas that will stretch the organization and push the boundaries within the industry and region to drive brand awareness, preference, and brand love.
Executing for Results
Deliver competitive, locally relevant products and services aligned with the focused service space as demanded by owners and guests alike. Conduct or collaborate on all activities needed to grow the brand, including research, prototype and design development or optimization, F&B programming, and brand personality localization.
Lead, manage, and assist with enterprise and brand initiatives designed to enhance the on-property customer experience and drive programs and products that foster a commercial culture across all aspects of the business while adhering to owner friendly economics.
Work with various enterprise stakeholders to drive innovation, improve integration, increase automation, and develop, create, and implement successful and measurable programs to assist in growing revenue, driving loyalty, improving service culture, delivering on our Customer Promise, increasing profitability, and executing brand and enterprise objectives within all operating models.
Develop and maintain guides for brand programs and initiatives for successful implementation by hotel teams.
Conduct cost-benefit analysis for brand standards and programs to ensure they drive guest experience and positive owner returns.
Work closely with the Development team to ensure a pragmatic approach to new deals while balancing a growth mindset with long-term brand equity and support with presentations and pitches.
Work closely with Communications team on brand launches, FAM trips, press releases, and brand promotional content.
Collaborate with HSM on procurement strategies for the Suites and Focused Service Category including product categorization, design packages, program compliance, purchasing platform, etc.
Create and maintain impactful regional brand storytelling materials for various purposes and stakeholders including prospective and current owners, General Managers, internal audiences, media, etc.
Monitor holistic brand health and liaise across the enterprise to develop strategies and tactics for trending portfolio opportunities.
Work with enterprise partners to establish development, operational, and performance reporting standardization and manage the brand's quarterly business review cycle.
Relationships and Influence
Ability to build positive relationships both internally and externally; navigate and influence decision makers in a highly matrixed environment; establish and grow strong partnerships and build consensus with diverse, cross-functional collaborators globally.
Develop strong, positive working relationships with the Country Heads and Ops Leaders, as well as owners, owner representatives, and General Managers to gather feedback, address concerns, and cultivate enthusiasm for brands and support of initiatives. Lead quarterly Brand Connect Calls and GM Panels.
Capable of representing the brands and someone who promotes and builds excitement for the Focused Service category to a broad range of external and internal stakeholders to include owners, guests, and colleagues.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
BA/BS/Bachelor's degree
5 to 7 years of brand management experience in hospitality or parallel industry
Ability to travel domestically and globally as required, approximately 50%
Additional regional language will be beneficial
