This strategic role will manage the regional and local bancassurance partnership in select group of markets. The role will collaborate with stakeholders of all key divisions within regional and Local Business Units (LBUs) to optimize sales productivity, deepen customer penetration across all segments in the bank, bringing though leadership in sales model and tools.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation, approval and execution of annual business plans with assigned LBU's;
- Drive delivery of contracted targets, with focus on distribution initiatives, product delivery, marketing and digital tools, new channel expansion
- Day to day ownership of the regional partnership account with focus on building collaborative relationships with key executive and delivery (in conjunction with Local Business Units (LBUs)) of strategic objectives and consolidated partnership sales results
- Monitor and review agreed business plan KPIs, highlighting any risks to plan delivery and agreed actions with LBUs and regional management to resolve any performance issues
- Work closely with LBUs and local partners to drive sales productivity and implement appropriate infrastructure for effective performance management.
- Develop roadmap for key strategic initiatives to optimize the partnership value and increase penetration. This includes and not limited to digital, health and protection, new segments & channels.
- Manage regular Regional Steerco (RSC) and working committee meetings in conjunction with the Partner, prepare business updates and ensure partnership governance.
- Manage all Annual Incentive Payment for Regional Partnership and develop reports for sharing with Partners.
- Provide leadership for assigned projects to enhance the capabilities of the regional PD and improve effectiveness
- Manage and develop comprehensive / automated (desired) bancassurance MIS for use by all relevant parties (PCA and Partners).
- Manage and develop weekly, monthly, quarterly sales performances and prepare monthly APE forecast. Review and design new performance management reports for PCA PD Team. Close liaison with LBUs and PCA Insurance Management team is required
- Manage key regional projects as assigned to support partnership development across the region
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant insurance/ financial industry experience
- Experience in leading digital projects and bancassurance business
- Strong communicator with good influencing and stakeholder management capabilities
- Knowledge and experience working in local business unit
- Strong business acumen with a strong understanding of life insurance financials
- Strong capabilities in project management
- Energetic, forward thinking, and creative. Resilient in the face of opposition
- A well organized and self-directed individual
- Team player and able to demonstrate strong collaboration with peers and across other functions
