Summary: Director, Regional Vertical Markets Electronics & Healthcare APAC
Regionally lead and drive the industry vertical and strategy as well as the development of key accounts while supporting the Regional/Country sales in building their Vertical organization and sales pipelines. The Regional Vertical Head (RVH) is accountable for the growth and solutions building as part of the Vertical portfolio.
Reports to: VP, Global Vertical Market(s) Electronics & Healthcare (GVH)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Management of the regional and local team members for the respective vertical including all performance management and objective setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategy and Business Development
- Development, management, and execution of a regional vertical strategy in accordance with goals and objectives for the global Vertical, including identification and acquisition of new business as well as maintenance of existing business.
- Identify and develop new and additional business opportunities for growth in revenue and gross profit for the assigned Vertical portfolio and effectively manage the vertical sales process.
- Lead and manage a group of Regional Key Account Managers and Vertical Business Development managers in the Vertical as applicable for the region.
- Provide the Global Vertical Head with concise, data/fact-driven information and analysis on opportunities, issues, trends, and financial results inclusive of identification of alternatives and options for the vertical development and performance.
- Develop, communicate, and lead operational plans and budgets for the Vertical in the region to achieve defined results within Vertical portfolio.
- Define top regional pursuits across the Vertical, aligned with the GVH and prioritize in alignment with the Segments and Product teams.
- Develop and deliver integrated solutions across the Vertical customers supply chains in collaboration with the relevant Commercial & Marketing teams as well as Products & Segments.
- Support and management of projects supporting global and regional Vertical priorities.
Customer Insights & Industry Leadership
- Demonstrate thought leadership towards the Vertical industry in the Region.
- Gathering vertical intelligence and building Vertical insights.
- Identify customer / vertical-specific needs from frontline and client-engagements.
- Identification and formulation of future customer needs incl. setting priorities.
- Demonstrate OIA's industry expertise externally, e.g. white papers, conferences etc.
Sales Leadership & Engagement
- Engage in selling by supporting sales teams in customer meetings.
- Act as customer advisor and expand share of wallet through additional products and solutions with mutual upside.
- Build and drive the Vertical community effectively within OIA Global.
- Monthly engagement calls with feedback on results, opportunities, and strategic gaps.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years experience in sales.
- A four-year accredited bachelor's degree is required; an M.B.A. or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, particularly luggage while traveling.
- A minimum of 50% travel within the regionally and internationally is required.
