Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Provides engineering design, troubleshooting and maintenance of Distributed Control System (DCS)
- Troubleshoots day-to-day process problems related to process control applications, controller tuning and batch recipes execution
- Supports Process Hazard Analysis and implements process changes through a Management of Change process
- Maintains up-to-date documentation for the DCS
- Conducts training programs for operators on DCS & Batch Recipes
- Initiates and manages DCS hardware life cycle, software and process control network upgrades
- Lead/support development & execution of control system projects, and greenfield projects
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation and Control/Chemical from an accredited university
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience in DCS in the refinery, petrochemical or chemical industry
- Strong analytical/trouble-shooting skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently, in a team and in a diverse environment
Preferred Qualification:
- Knowledge and work experience in Honeywell DCS System (TPS/EPKS DCS and Experion Batch)
- Knowledge in SQL Programming/Power BI, Process Control Domain & Network administration
