As a Docker Engineer, you will be - Responsible for administration of Kubernetes Clusters across Asia, Switzerland ensuring uptime and performance including evolution of platforms working in close collaboration with infrastructure team, security and software vendor.
working closely with multiple teams (Engineering, Security, Operations & Development teams) to maintain, deploy and operate containerized solutions.- Spreading the usage of containers in the company through automation and coaching
Administration of Kubernetes platform- Troubleshooting incidents/problems related to Kubernetes cluster & applications
Monitor cluster health using standard monitoring tools (eg Dynatrace)
- Manage obsolescence & remediate vulnerabilities with close collaboration of vendor
Escalate timely to management on possible risks, escalation matters and management issues- Review and create application Support knowledge articles.
Ensure that all production deliverables are aligned with production standards and best practices.
- Identify and propose automation wherever possible to improve system availability, productivity, and performance.

Assist on DR, BCP exercise and patching cycles- Contribute to in continuous improvement process in terms of creating and maintaining knowledge base.

Total 5+ years of IT experience with at least 2+ years of Kubernetes administration
- CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
Hands on experience on Container image life cycle management (test, patch, deploy),- Container storage management, Automation using helm charts
Good Knowledge on Network topologies & container networking & Monitoring using Prometheus / Dynatrace
- Basic understanding of BRMS (backup, recovery and media services)
Experience with automation/configuration management using Terraform or Ansible- Good background in Linux / Unix Administration
A working understanding of Python or Perl or Shell
- Excellent communication skills
Excellent Stakeholder management
Experience on Redhat OpenShift platform- Experience in developing cloud native applications and/or Certified Kubernetes Developer certification
Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis Administration
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines
