What You Will Do
You will be responsible for providing palliative care to patients assigned to you. Such care includes patient assessment, patient care planning, implementing and monitoring of symptom management.
You will be involved in training and orientation for other medical professionals who may be attached to HCA from time to time.
You will also represent HCA in dealing with other institutions/agencies, and participate in community programmes to create awareness of HCAs work to the community and institutions/agencies.
You are encouraged to initiate and participate in continual learning and development programmes that may also include research or quality improvement projects. Training opportunities are also widely available, either at diploma or specialist levels.
You will be required to undertake on-call responsibilities outside normal working hours.
Who You Are
MBBS Degree registrable with the Singapore Medical Council
At least three years of clinical experience in palliative care
Post-grad qualifications or prior experience in other related disciplines eg Family Medicine, Oncology, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics or Geriatrics will be useful.
