We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Door Specialist to join our team. As a Door Specialist, you will work closely with designers, contractors, clients, and installation teams to assess site conditions, take precise measurements, and advise on the most suitable door solutions. Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that orders are processed accurately and that any issues are promptly addressed. You will also be responsible for overseeing the installation process to ensure that all doors are installed without any complications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Assessment: Collaborate with designers and contractors to visit project sites, assess conditions, take measurements, and provide recommendations on door solutions.
- Order Management: Work with internal colleagues to finalize orders and liaise with the factory to resolve any issues related to order processing, production, and delivery.
- Installation Oversight: Coordinate with installers to ensure that all door installations are completed smoothly and without issues. Address any on-site problems promptly to prevent delays.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with all relevant stakeholders, including designers, contractors, suppliers, and installers, to ensure project timelines are met.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of site assessments, order details, and installation progress. Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the design or renovation industry, with a strong understanding of site assessment, measurements, and installation processes.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of designers, contractors, and installers.
- Education: Diploma qualification or higher
- License: Possession of a Class 3 driving license
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements, order specifications, and installation quality.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues that may arise during the ordering or installation process.
