Dr Le Boucher Richard Group: Postdoctoral Position

We are hiring an enthusiastic candidate to investigate innovative solutions for enhanced disease resilience in barramundi (Lates calcarifer) and shrimp (Penaeus vannamei): non-lethal heat shock, functional feed, and recombinant peptides.

Responsibilities:

. Conduct research on aquaculture health (disease challenge, immune gene expression, field trials)

. Manage deliverables-based projects in aquaculture health

. Maintain regular discussion with local farmers and industry stakeholders to design solutions that are compatible with farming requirements

Requirements:

. PhD Degree in Aquaculture Health, Nutrition or Genetics

. At least one first-author research paper in an international peer-reviewed journal
