Job Description & RequirementsThe Drafter will be responsible for creating technical drawings, plans, and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of drafting techniques, engineering terminology, and industry standards.
Prepare Technical Drawings: Develop detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints for various projects, including architectural, mechanical, civil, and electrical designs.
- Collaborate with Engineers and Architects: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to interpret design concepts and convert them into precise drawings.
Use CAD Software: Utilize CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.) to create and modify drawings.- Ensure Accuracy and Compliance: Ensure all drawings adhere to project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Revise Drawings: Make revisions to drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and clients.
- Maintain Drawing Files: Organize and maintain drawing files, ensuring easy retrieval and version control.
* Technical Documentation: Prepare and update technical documentation, including project specifications and reports.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits when necessary to gather information, verify measurements, and observe construction progress.
