About The Opportunity
As the Revenue-Focused Sales Leader for Singapore & SEA, you will be responsible for establishing and growing our presence in this emerging market. You will develop and execute a go-to-market strategy, build and lead a high-performing sales team, and drive aggressive revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment and with a deep background and understanding of the HCM landscape in this part of the world.
What You'll Get To Do
Market Entry Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive market expansion strategy for Singapore & SEA, including identifying target customer segments, sales channels, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Operations) to localize and focus the company's offerings for the new market on Dayforce's Right To Win
Revenue Growth
- Set aggressive revenue targets for you and your team and develop sales strategies to achieve them.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to accelerate growth.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize results.
Team Building and Leadership
- Recruit, hire, Retain and train a high-performing sales team tailored to the local market.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets.
- Foster a results-driven culture with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the market.
Brand and Market Positioning
- Enhance the company's brand presence in the new market through strategic marketing initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and credibility.
Skills And Experience We Value
- 8-10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably with experience in launching and scaling operations in a new market or country.
- Selling SaaS, Cloud, and complex integrated business process solutions. Finance and HR transformations.
Industry Knowledge
- Deep understanding of the Singapore and SEA market, including key players, trends, Partners and competitive landscape in the key countries.
Sales Acumen
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets; experience in managing a sales team.
- Strong understanding of enterprise-level sales processes, including account planning, solution selling, pipeline management, and forecasting.
Adaptability
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Negotiation & Deal Closure
- Lead high-value negotiations and contract discussions, managing complex sales cycles and addressing any obstacles that could prevent deal closure.
C-Level Engagement
- Experience building relationships and selling directly to senior executives (CHROS, CFOs CIOs, CTOs, and other C-level stakeholders).
Leadership
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and inspire a team; experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a plus.
Language
- Fluency in English is required and one other SEA language preferred
Communication
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at executive levels.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
