About the job
We want to fill this position with a proactive enthusiast who can support us in securing the IKEA brand and our overall vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people, through our omnichannel ambition, by helping us deliver a commercial website and secure an enhanced customer experience online.
Your assignment
You will be based in Singapore and are responsible for achieving maximum sales growth and profitability in the online channels while taking care of the IKEA product range and our commercial priorities within the framework of the IKEA Concept and brand values.
Your responsibilities will include:
Merchandising the IKEA website most optimally, coordinating & aligning content to the commercial calendar.Converting online traffic to sales by:
Utilising web analytics tools to track key performance metrics and produce reports making data-driven decisions to improve sales and customer experience.
Understanding local consumers life at home & shopping behaviour
Exploring avenues for repeat purchases & engagements
Securing a seamless online shopping experience
Aligning with the customers user journey on the IKEA website & Shopping App
Sharing data-driven insights and coordinating with relevant stakeholders
Qualifications
Your profile
You have a passion for home furnishings, e-commerce and doing the best for our customers.
You come with experience in retail, understand e-commerce operations, web merchandising processes & methods, are familiar with the IKEA product range (including new & seasonal) and sales steering & pricing strategies. Knowledge of online search, conversion and engagement will be an added advantage.
You have a proven track record in making commercial decisions based on local consumer behaviour and market competitor information and are motivated to overcome challenges in an effective and timely manner.
You are resourceful, able to prioritise and structure your work, detail-oriented and possess excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving and project management skills.
Minimum 5 years of relevant e-commerce functional experience.
