Job Description- Lead Teacher in a classroom setting for children with learning, behavioural and developmental needs
Conduct individual and group EIP therapy sessions for children with learning, behavioural and developmental issues- Work with team to plan and implement social, emotional and/or behavioural interventions.
Conduct psycho-educational assessments and therapy services as necessary
- Develop intervention and lesson plans for individuals and group EIP programs
Develop and apply holistic teaching methods and approaches, strategies and tools- Provide thorough documentation and timely communication of progress and interventions
Collaborate with therapists and other allied health professionals in the EIP Team
- Attend team meetings and professional development
Diploma or Degree in Special Education or Early Intervention
- Experience in Early Intervention preferred
Have a strong command of English and have good organizational skills- Able to work independently and yet be a good team player
