The role of EHS Specialist / Senior EHS Specialist to cover our sites at Tuas view, Ave 20 lab, Ave 8 Warehouse, TCM Micron and TCM Siltronic.
Objective is to ensure all sites are meeting regulatory requirements and EHS programs are implemented across the sites.
Position Purpose:
The purpose of the position is to:
- Ensure that corrective actions are taken for all findings and observation, and incidents are investigated thoroughly to identify the root cause.
- Support arranging statutory medical examination and training requirement.
- Review risk assessment and facilitate internal ISO 45001, 14001 and SS651 audits.
- Lead the Company emergency team and facilitate necessary audit and training.
Major Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS program and EHS Culture initiatives for facilities.
- Conduct audits and inspection to identify the potential hazards and ensure corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local EHS legislation and company internal requirements.
- Ensure EHS programs are align with corporate EHS policies, objectives & targets, ISO14001, ISO45001 and SS651 requirements.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to promote EHS best practices and lead the risk assessment for the facility.
- Lead the Certified Emergency Response Team (CERT) requirements in all the facilities (incl routine inspection, training, and audit)
- Lead in workplace incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to ensure corrective and preventive actions are adequate.
- Support Industrial Hygiene and Environmental monitoring activities in the plants, labs and warehouses.
- Drive green environmental initiatives, ergonomic projects, and continuous improvement projects in the facilities
- Identify training requirement and conduct/ arrange necessary training.
Performs other duties as assigned by Senior EHS Manager
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in related field (safety, environmental, chemical engineering, or equivalent).
- 3-5 years of experience, preferred experience in electronic, semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical industry, or similar manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Teams.
- Good knowledge of Singapore environmental, occupational safety and health regulations.
