Drives systems development from concept to production.
Translate the product requirements into a functional system with a detailed technical design plan.
Create and maintain all the relevant Hardware design document, schematic design drawings, layout diagrams, Gerber, verification documents and reports.
Proactively assess the technical risks and resolve the design issues by providing reliable solutions.
Ensure Electrical regulatory compliance and thermal dissipation requirements are fully met with proven design solutions and design practices.
Lead and manage the product electronics design with in-house design team, ODM and OEM suppliers.
Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders as well as internal functional groups (local and overseas) in order to track and report the project status.
Manage all development projects in accordance with Brady development processes and tools.
Ability to apply advanced electronics engineering principles and theories to complex issues. Demonstrates broad knowledge in the field.
Interfaces effectively with other departments in the solution of problems or issues.
Requirments
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering background.
Minimum of 5 years experience as Senior Electrical Engineer.
Ability to support firmware engineers on Boot loader/ BSP (Board support Package) development and debugging.
Experience in Altium Designer is an advantage.
Experience in Digital design, I/O Interface, Timing, Power, Thermal and cost analysis.
Involvement in product design development and production transfer.
Experience in Embedded mixed signal hardware design, especially in multi-layer PCB's using Microprocessors, DDR2/DDR3 Memories, SLC NAND, Stepper and DC Motor Drivers, USB Hub controllers, Ethernet transceivers, DACs, ADCs, LVDS Controllers and FPGA/CPLDs.
