Major Responsibilities:-Read and debug Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) code in accordance with programmer work instructions or customer requirements.
-Performs corrective maintenance, non-routine repair, modification, troubleshooting, calibration, of PLC/HMI code and/or system components.
-Commission Networks and establish stable communication between PLCS and their network components, switches, and ancillary devices.
-Check function of all switches on cylinders, actuators, and other devices to verify functionality.
-Confirm sequence and operation of machines prior to programming with mechanical technician or engineering.
-Utilizes various schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and other resources.
-Maintains records of work performed; assists in providing content for machine manuals and similar documentation for the installation, maintenance, calibrating, removal and modification of electronic systems and equipment.
-Perform field service work as required for installation, modification, and service of systems.
-Advises and assists Team Leads, management, and others on operating problems involving automation systems and provides suggested remedies.
-Willingness to work at various project sites around Singapore.
Candidate must possess at least a NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or NITEC in Building Environment (Vertical Transportation)
Entry level candidates/no experience are welcome- Preferably with some knowledge of read and write PLC programming circuit diagram, electrical trouble shooting.
Knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages.
