Singtel x Singapore Institute of Technology have embarked on a Work-Study Programme (WSP) launched in Feb
- The WSP is called The Catalyst Programme which is a structured on-the-job (OJT) development WSP that allows Polytechnic Diploma holders to secure a full-time position with Singtel while pursuing a university honours degree in BEng Infrastructure and Systems Engineering. This programme is open to Singtels internal employees as well as external polytechnic diploma holders preferably from the Engineering domain. Make an Impact by
To assist Energy & Sustainability function in the coordination of Energy & Sustainability related meetings, drafting of meeting minutes, reporting etc
Conduct site walks and assist in evaluating potential new technologies to be deployed
Coordinate with various stakeholders to prepare and compile data required for sustainability-related audits
Discuss and explore the latest market technologies for energy and green initiatives that can be deployed for Data Centre application or developed into prove of concept
Assist Energy & Sustainability Manager to monitor existing Data Centre utilities consumption (power, water) and explore ways to reduce carbon footprint
Skills for Success
A completed diploma from a reputable Polytechnic
3 years or less work experience
Understand sustainability-related metrics, certifications and audits
Understand Mechanical and Electrical equipment and the sustainability aspects of infrastructure management
