Job Description & Requirements

Scope of Work:

. Perform maintenance tasks onboard vessels (mainly in harbour)

. Perform maintenance works onboard vessels in shipyard occasionally

. Perform maintenance works on shore-based systems

. Perform defect troubleshoot till module/card level onboard vessels or shore-based systems

. Perform repairs to modules and PCBA in workshop

. Perform installation/removal work for equipment/systems

. Perform refurbishment of electronics unit/assemblies

. Perform technical admin work including quotations, closing jobs, service reports, etc.

Academic Qualification:

. Diploma/Degree on Electronics Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/ Digital and Network Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/IT/Software

. RSN maintenance training certifications would be considered

Experience: (would be advantageous)

. Working knowledge and experience working in on-board commercial and military vessels on Communications and Electronics systems

. Window or Linux OS administration (installation and troubleshooting) experience

. Working knowledge and experience on computer systems

. Understanding maintenance regime and basic experience in troubleshooting system till card level.

. Training would be provided if necessary.

Personality:

. Good interpersonal skill

. Good teamwork and discipline

. Singaporean only due to security restrictions
