Were looking to add a Engineer, GSBM (Procurement) in Singapore. The position is based in our HQ at Ang Mo Kio.
As a Engineer, GSBM (Procurement), you will:
To manage and support Ventures global sites and R&D on EE (Electronics & Electrical) alternate sourcing. To manage and support Ventures global sites on Regulatory Compliance (Conflict Minerals, ROHS & REACH).
Follow up and involve supplier on design, technology, quick turn and FA support for R&D and customers NPI projects.
Develop supplier profiles on technical capability, costs structure and technology roadmap.
Conduct vendor qualification and plant audits.
Responsible for meeting cost and delivery targets.
Provision of low cost alternatives to R&D and customers.
Provide RFQ support to R&D and manufacturing.
Manage and review suppliers performance based on quality, delivery performance, cost and allocation.
Keep abreast of manufacturing technology updates, industrial benchmark and do cost competitive studies.
Forecast global commodity requirements.
Develop commodity strategies and a preferred world-class supplier base.
Creating and maintaining preferred suppliers and parts listing for local and global strategic suppliers.
Performing supplier risk analysis and recommend alternate sources.
Assisting in assurance of parts, issues resolution returns and reject analysis.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company.
What skills and experiences are we looking for
Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
3 years of working experience in Electronics & Electrical component qualification.
Good knowledge of Active and Passive Electronics & Electrical commodities.
Some knowledge of Conflict Minerals Declaration, ROHS and REACH Compliance.
Knowledge of SAP and MS Office is an added advantage.
Ability to read and analyse Electronics and Electrical component datasheets.
Able to manage technical follow up with suppliers and internal engineers independently.
Able to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with China suppliers.
Good leadership and organisational skills.
Resourceful, responsive, reliable and ability to interact with people at all levels.
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, written and verbal communications.
