Job Description:
- We are looking for Test Development engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing ATE test solution for final test and/or wafer sort products for IC manufacturing. It will require development of hardware and software to enable IC testing that conforms to device electrical test specification.
- This role handles activities such as test program development, hardware development, tester and multisite conversion, test time reduction, support engineering evaluation, and administrative work to support test development.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible in hardware and software bring-up, debug, and improvement of ATE IC testing
- Support test development in engineering qualification, correlation, device characterization and dry run with minimal supervision
- Analyze data and generate report for engineering qualification, correlation, device characterization and dry run
- Engage in cost reduction projects such as tester and multisite conversion, program optimization and yield improvement
- Ensure seamless release of products from engineering phase to mass production
- Execute administrative task to support test development teamRequirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Preferred Electronics and/or Electrical
- 2yrs or more experience working with any of Teradyne (ETS, UltraFlex, J750) and Advantest (V93K) testers
- Familiar with semiconductor IC, test methodology and test development process
- Knowledgeable in any of the programming language such as C/C++, VB/VBA, Labview and scripting
- Hardware design and software development experience is a plus
- Experience in hardware and software troubleshooting is a plus
- Must exhibit pro-activeness with ability to work in a team
- Able to travel to other UTAC sites, if the project requires.
