Responsible for planning, LAN design, configuration, installation, implementation and deployment of network infrastructure
Perform documentation, test plans and procedures
Perform network / systems testing
Network troubleshooting and fault analysis
To perform Preventive Maintenance for customer as allocated and scheduled
To carry out Corrective Maintenance in accordance with the maintenance instructions / procedures, involving fault troubleshooting, diagnosis & replacement of equipment/module/component at sites.
When necessary escalate problems to the appropriate vendors / principals
Require to travel to sites for work
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Electronics/Computer Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent
Knowledge on LAN, WAN & Wireless, switching & routing technologies (such as VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGF, etc.) will be an added advantage
Able to work effectively in an outdoor environment
Strong communications and written skills
Proficient in MS Office (Words, Power-point & Excel)
Ability to work as a team and independently with minimum supervision
