Work on surface modelling to draw a flat representation of the product, for example a bearing.
Work on a project from the initial brief, through the development stage, to the testing of one or more prototypes, right through to final manufacture and implementation.
Maintain the drawing library.
Responsible to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation/maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, part drawing notes, customer specifications and internal work instructions.
Creating quality technical specifications for suppliers, auditing their quality procedures, and managing complaints and returns. Responsible for developing products and driving innovation according to the product roadmap, with a focus on maximizing product profitability, improving product performance, and ensuring competitiveness and innovation of products and processes.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to Tru-Marine's Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policy comply with risk assessment and all HSE aspects relevant to work
Interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, part drawing notes, customer specifications and internal instructions
Perform reverse engineering
Produce CAD drawings from shop/ mechanical drawings or from scratch
Programming of laser, CNC and other production equipment utilizing CAM software or other appropriate methods
Design of specialty parts/ jigs/ fixtures for in-house use
Ensure 5S activities are carried out daily
Programming on robotic controller
Any ad-hoc task within scope
Qualification
Minimum Diploma and above in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply
