Job Description
As part of manufacturing engineering team, the intern will be able to learn the different manufacturing process, facilities, and maintenance operation. He/she will take up the engineering project for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvement and machine waste reduction.
Assist the process engineers to establish protocols and oversee the execution of process validation.
Assist the process engineer to oversee the projects conception, design and specifications and manage scheduling, cost estimation, and securing materials.
Data collection and results analysis report for engineering study and process validation.
Requirement
Education:
Currently enrolled in a mechanical / electrical engineering, or related engineering degree program.
Software:
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Words)
Knowledge in Statistical Process Control (using Minitab)
Language:
Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
At least one other local and/or regional language.
Skills and Attitude:
Hands-on, boots-on-the-ground approach to work.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Accurate and attentive to detail.
Ability to communicate and work well with different people.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
