Overview:
We are seeking an Engineering & Maintenance Manager to join our Kemin Asia Operation team. You will lead and manage the engineering and maintenance functions of our manufacturing facilities and the Campus, ensuring our equipment and systems optimal performance and reliability. You will also oversee and execute various process automation, improvement, and expansion projects.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive total preventive maintenance (TPM) program for all equipment and systems, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Manage and supervise the engineering and maintenance team, providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance evaluation.
Planned and executed engineering projects related to process automation, improvement, and expansion, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and resolve engineering and maintenance issues and to ensure alignment of goals and expectations.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements and standards.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to engineering and maintenance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Research and evaluate new technologies and best practices to improve our operations efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.
This position will report directly to the Operation Director and work closely with other senior managers and cross-functional teams in Asia and the World-wide Kemin Operation team.
Key Performance Indicators
Safety: Ensure zero lost-time injury (LTI) and near-miss incidents for the engineering and maintenance team and contractors, complying with all safety policies and procedures.
Overall equipment effectiveness (OEE): Achieve and maintain an OEE of at least 85% for all critical equipment and processes.
Operational expenditure (Opex) spending: Manage and optimize the Opex budget for engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
Capital expenditure (CAPEX) and discretionary project return on investment (ROI): Plan and execute CAPEX and discretionary projects that deliver high ROI and value creation for the organization, following the best practices of project management and engineering standards.
Continuous improvement: Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the reliability, productivity, and quality of the equipment and processes, using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
Employee development and engagement: Coach and mentor the engineering and maintenance team members, providing regular feedback and performance appraisals and identifying training and development needs. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team. Support the recruitment and retention of engineering and maintenance talent.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, preferably specializing in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
At least five years of relevant experience in engineering and maintenance management, preferably in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or food industry.
Strong knowledge and experience in total preventive maintenance (TPM), process automation, and project management.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
