- Target Student: Age Group 5 - 12
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the enrichment centre's curriculum.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes creativity.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with students and parents provide regular updates to parents on students performance and progress
- Collaborate with colleagues & assistant to enhance curriculum development and teaching methods.
- Maintain accurate records of students attendance, performance, and achievements.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities provide & collaborate with GEM (Gakken Education Malaysia Sdn. Bhd) & Japan HQ as
- required.
- Ensure centre management and the safety and well-being of all students.
- Perform all administrative and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education/ Teacher Certificate, Diploma or other Teacher Accreditation courses and certification, or relevant field.
- Prior experience teaching in an enrichment centre or similar educational setting.
- 1-2 year of proven experience in teaching mathematics/ science at the primary or early secondary school level.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage young learners effectively.
- Passion for education and commitment to the academic and personal development of students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with Singapore's education system and curriculum frameworks (PSLE & early Secondary)
