Enterprise Data Access Control Technical Lead.

As the Technical Lead for Enterprise Data Access Control, you will oversee all technical aspects of the design and development of EDAC, our self-service data access control product.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all technical aspects of the design and development of EDAC, our self-service data access control product.
- Lead a team of experienced data engineers and developers, working with the Product Manager and other product teams integrated in the EDE Product Line.
- Form a close relationship with technology vendors of industry-leading data products and help shape and deliver our product roadmap.
- Participate in new technology evaluations to identify opportunities and estimate effort to support the product roadmap with new tools.
- Manage the development team, working closely with the Scrum Master, the Product Manager, the Solution Architect, and other product teams in the product line.
- Run an agile delivery team, clarify requirements, design features, assign tasks in JIRA, support developers, produce and track estimates, oversee the development lifecycle and documentation, and escalate issues to the Product Manager or the Solution Architect as needed.
- Liaise with support and maintenance teams and infrastructure teams providing services to host your product.
- Work closely with key technology and service partners to ensure their products are correctly configured and delivering to help our product roadmap.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software/data engineering and architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in data and analytics delivery initiatives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, driving results while collaborating with multiple simultaneous projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively with global teams across multiple departments, including offshore teams operating in different time zones.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Understanding of data or related trends such as Data Fabric, Data Mesh, Zero Trust, Data-as-a-Product, data ownership, and governance strategies.
- Knowledge of the AWS cloud ecosystem from a data and analytics standpoint, including a working knowledge of devops.
- Knowledge or experience of industry data access control products such as Immuta, Okera, Privacera, Apache Ranger, Security.ai, Cyral, Axiomatics etc.
- Knowledge of Enterprise metadata catalog tools such as Collibra, Amazon Glue, Informatica, Alation, Apache Atlas, Zaloni, etc.
- Data layer tools such as Databricks, Starburst Trino, Amazon Redshift, dbt, Matillion.
- Understanding of AI & Machine learning life cycle management and AI/ML model life cycle, tools like Amazon Sagemaker, DataRobot, Dataiku.
