About The Role
An Enterprise System Manager is responsible for managing the entire life cycle of the business systems and processes, from planning and analysis to development and testing to deployment and support. The primary focus of this role will be to align the needs of the People Module and Finance functions with the overall Organizational Modules within the Workday system. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both Human Resources and Finance processes, along with extensive experience in configuring and optimizing Workday modules to meet organizational objectives.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with stakeholders from People, Finance, and other departments to understand business requirements and translate them into Workday system configurations where needed.
- Serve as the liaison person between People, Finance and other departments to achieve the process and system improvements where needed.
- Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of Workday enhancements, ensuring alignment with both HCM and Finance objectives. Help to prioritise incoming requests from the wider Fazz team as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and automation, especially within the Workday system.
- Configure Workday reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights into Human Capital and Finance metrics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Workday configurations, integrations, and data accuracy.
- Publish updates to all employees when required to improve general usage of the Workday system (e.g soliciting feedback to identify commonly misunderstood areas and educating users on how to improve).
- Stay updated on Workday releases, new features, and best practices to continuously optimize system performance and functionality.
- Develop and deliver training sessions to educate end-users on new Workday functionalities and processes.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations in all Workday configurations and implementations.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and integrations to support ongoing system management and knowledge transfer.
- Work with Finance teams to integrate Workday to other systems and report (e.g., JIRA, payroll report etc.) to drive efficiency and data consistency across the organization. Maintain, monitor and support all People Ops system integrations.
- Help review and explain trends in the Personnel Costs within the MD&A (management report), by cross referencing against data from the payroll providers. e.g. providing BU heads with summary of monthly movements and name list.
- Provide monthly update on department headcount budget usage. Provide detailed name list of all employees to Exco on a monthly basis.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Workday Financials systems manager
- Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Workday Financials modules, including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Workday certification in Financials (preferred).
