Event & Partnership Development Manager
The Event & Partnership Development Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and development of events at the Recreational Club. This role will also focus on fostering strategic partnerships with external organizations, sponsors, and community stakeholders to enhance the club's offerings and drive revenue. The manager will ensure that events align with the club's mission, improve member engagement, and deliver exceptional experiences for attendees.
Specific Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage event staff, volunteers, and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of all events.
2. Monitor and evaluate the success of events, providing post-event reports and recommendations for future improvements.
3. Identify and build relationships with potential partners, sponsors, and donors to create mutually beneficial collaborations.
4. Represent the Recreational Club at public events, meetings, and other community forums to promote partnerships and events.
Competencies
1. Proficiency in communication platforms like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom to facilitate real-time communication between event staff, volunteers, and external vendors.
2. Proficiency in using event management and planning software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, EventMobi) to track event logistics, attendance, and participant engagement.
3. Ability to negotiate terms that are mutually beneficial for both parties, ensuring that the partnership or sponsorship agreement delivers value to all stakeholders.
4. Ability to draft impactful speeches or talking points that clearly communicate the club's value proposition, mission, and upcoming initiatives to diverse audiences.
